UPDATE 3: 8:17 PM EDT - That looks more like it, we are approaching a 3 to 1 margin for real freedom! But I must admit that I am disappointed; I expected overwhelming support and also too was sure that this would be my first diary to ever make it to the rec list. Clearly no rec list for me, but I can stand tall with the knowledge that I am fighting on the correct side of this issue!

UPDATE 2: 7:57 PM EDT - All is not lost, between B and D the real defenders of freedom are winning by a 2-1 margin. Not as good as the 5-6 to 1 I expected, but better. So common freedom loving Kossacks vote en masse for B or D - do it for our children!

UPDATE: 7:47 PM EDT - what is wrong with people voting in a way that defames the only civil rights organization that stands between us and tyranny! I'll give the Kossacks that care about freedom some more time to overwhelm the anti-freedom people as they did in my other poll, but if it doesn't improve soon I may have to delete the whole diary.

Now that we know through scientific polling that Kossacks* believe that universal background checks are "A total destruction of Civil Rights" by an overwhelming majority (84-15), I guess it's time to further explore what the purpose or mission of the NRA is.
I mean, just because the NRA executives make a fair wage (some even take huge pay-cuts or only see very small increases in pay) does not mean that they are not out there purely to defend the constitutional rights of all Americans, right?
The NRA has an absolute right to own politicians, but only a horrible American would accuse them of caring more about profits than about people and the fact that they own those politicians dies not mean that the only reason those politicians vote with the NRA is because they felt in any way coerced!
