You read that right. If you attend a public university in N.C. your life is worth a little less as the N.C. House has just passed laws that forbid public universities from banning guns on their campuses/classrooms.
Private universities and schools could opt not to permit weapons on campus, but public schools and universities would have to comply.Yup, if you're a professor and give someone a bad grade be prepared for a little more than an angry student - the students will now be able to take action and put these "elitist professors" in their rightful place (six feet under is clearly where the N.C. legislature believes they belong).
